Hi, I’m Michelle. I'm a sexual health nurse and I’ve spent over a decade in the world of sexy health. I've worked as a sexual health nurse in STI and HIV clinics, contributed to STI cure research and am forever doing my little bit to break down the stigma surrounding sexual health.
Over the years, I’ve noticed something important: while the physical symptoms of STIs and other infections are easily treated or manageable, the stigma, shame, anxiety, and confusion are what often hurt people the most. And I’m here to help change that, one conversation at a time. I created You and Me and HSV because the "aftercare" of a diagnosis is so often missing. I wanted to build a safe, non-judgmental space where you can get accurate facts and real support, so you can stop spiralling and start feeling like yourself again.

Everything we say here at You and Me and HSV is evidence based and backed by current Australian STI guidelines.
